The 24th November saw the coldest temperatures in 2007 to date. Shortly after midnight the temperature fell to -3.6°C, the coldest temperature since 3rd March 2006.
 
However the cold spell was short lived as temperatures began to rise rapidly again after 02:00 under increasing cloud and a falling barometer. By dawn the temperature had risen to a much milder 8.4°C and are continuing to rise.
