Frosty Start

High pressure may bring a change to dryer conditions; but at this time of year the clear skies mean a return to overnight frosts.

It’s currently -0.1C, down 0.9C in the last hour and just up from the minimum of -0.4C just a few minutes ago. The barometer reads 1031.2mb, rising at 0.24mb/hour. Winds are calm.

The high pressure is currently over Scandinavia and is forecast to move westwards over Ireland mid-week before drifting east over Scandinavia again by the weekend. All in all the week should remain dry and calm.
