Data Transfer Issues Now Resolved |

I am pleased to announce that the data transfer issues that have dogged TulligWeather for the past 6 weeks have been resolved with the installation of a new circuit board in the ISS. Data has been correct since midnight on 1st January 2007 and all erroneous data from November and December 2007 has been removed from the database. Unfortunately this has resulted in the loss of the entire month of December. I am continuing to monitor the data feed carefully incase the problem recurs; but hopefully this is now fixed for good. |

Coldest Temperature in 2007 |

The 24th November saw the coldest temperatures in 2007 to date. Shortly after midnight the temperature fell to -3.6°C, the coldest temperature since 3rd March 2006. However the cold spell was short lived as temperatures began to rise rapidly again after 02:00 under increasing cloud and a falling barometer. By dawn the temperature had risen to a much milder 8.4°C and are continuing to rise.  Outdoor Temperature 23rd to 24th November 2007 |

New Queries For Tullig Weather |

Today saw the launch of some new query functionality for the Tullig Weather section of the site. This allows the site visitor to query and display a table of data for any date that is in the database. To ease display width restrictions the queries are divided by weather type into Pressure Related Data, Temperature Data, Wind Data and Rainfall Data. The results are displayed in a table with sortable columns making it easy to find the highs and lows of the date in question. To access this new functionality please select 'Weather Data Query' from the menu or use the link above. |
