A mainly overcast day, though we did see a glimpse of the sun this morning, with plenty of drizzle around lunchtime and in the early afternoon. Not much accumulation though – just 0.01″ (0.25mm).
It’s still fairly mild at 11.8C, down 0.2C in the last hour, with the barometer steady at 1016.2mb. Winds are a light to gentle west to southwesterly breeze.
Heavier rain is predicted to be well into the west by 06:00 tomorrow and will move through during the morning and cleared by evening though there may still be some showers behind it. The weekend is likely to start wet; but high pressure should build from Sunday onwards and the first half of next week looks a lot more settled.
